Le Monde selon l’IA at Jeu de Paume is the first large-scale group exhibition to explore the profound interactions between artificial intelligence and artistic creation. Bringing together 43 international artists—the show spans photography, film, video installations, sculpture, literature, and music.
The exhibition offers a critical and immersive reflection on AI, not only presenting AI-generated works, but also inviting visitors to consider the social, political, and environmental stakes of these technologies. Thematic sections address analytical AI (computer vision, facial recognition), generative AI (image, text, and sound creation), the hidden human labor behind automation, and ecological impacts. “Time capsules” inspired by cabinets of curiosities provide historical context and trace the genealogy of AI.
A rich public program of film screenings, conferences, performances, and debates accompanies the exhibition, making it a key event for understanding how AI is transforming art, visual culture, and society.
